MAY we, through the courtesy of your columns, express sincere gratitude to all who supported us at the tabletop sale and cream teas on July 1 at Gilnockie Hall in aid of Cancer Research, Breast Cancer Care and Alzheimer Scotland.

It was great to see a good turnout, despite the weather, and we are happy to report that £600 was raised, which will be shared equally among these three deserving charities.

Special thanks to those of you who baked and offered monetary donations. It was all very much appreciated. Also, a huge thanks to Elizabeth Mitchell for her valued assistance.
