THANK you for your favourable comments regarding the makeover at Rosevale Street gardens.

However, can I point out that the materials were provided and funded by Bonnie Langholm and the job was completed with the assistance of the Criminal Justice payback team and not Dumfries and Galloway council.

May I take this opportunity to also make the public aware of the other tasks the payback team are undertaking in and around the town.

They have recently been given responsibility for grass cutting at some of the older burial grounds in the area: Langholm (Kirk Wynd), Wauchope, Ewes and Staplegordon.
