ON behalf of the Bonnie Langholm committee I would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the High street shops and businesses who supported us with our recent raffle. Without them we could not have offered such a super range of prizes.

Having sold every single ticket and with 44 prizes on offer, the raffle was certainly successful both as a fundraiser and for the lucky winners. A list of the winners is published in this newspaper but can also be viewed in the Cumberland Building Society window.

While I do not have the final total for the amount raised, the committee is confident that, along with donations it has received, it will go a long way towards the £,2000 plus, which is needed annually to provide the summer displays.
