Tragedy took a year to cross the world

NEWS travels faster than ever these days but 150 years ago it could take months to cross the planet.

The descendants of a Langholm man who died in the Australian Outback in the 19th century have pointed out that copies of the Eskdale & Liddesdale Advertiser have been travelling the world for a long time.
