WITH the Castle Craigs boys’ night having taken place last Saturday, we looked out a photo from March 2002.
It is of the 2000 Cornet Steven Hotson, along with the first three placed winners of the under eight horse-drawing competition.
The horn-blowing contest was always good for a laugh and before the boys took part ex-Cornet Michael Bell, who took the horn along, showed how it should be done. Thirty-nine youngsters all took part.
In the horse-drawing competition for the under eights the first prize went to Oliver Norris, with Ross Borthwick second and Gregor Masterton third.
All the boys enjoyed watching videos of the big day and took part in various quizzes and tucked into goodies and juice.
