mbewes THE annual party for the children of the Ewes valley took place on the Saturday before Christmas in the hall. The party was jointly organised by the WRI and Guild and they had laid on plenty of food for the children to have a real tuck- in, which finished with jelly and ice-cream.

POLICE are investigating after two cars were damaged in Sleetbeck Road, Roadhead. A Skoda Octavia and a Vauxhall Corsa had their tyres slashed between December 3 and last Saturday. Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
