Wards reopen after hospital danger bug

ALL wards at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary have now reopened after several wards were closed by a winter vomiting bug.

Early last week, at its height, 95 patients and 53 staff were struck down by the norovirus. Five wards were closed and two more, while affected, remained open.
