FIREBRAND’S favourite Lesley Harcourt returns for the Hawick theatre company’s spring production, White Rose by Peter Arnott.
The former Taggart regular will be joined in the cast by Robert Jack (Jacko in the BBC comedy Gary: Tank Commander) and Alison O’Donnell, soon to be seen as Douglas Henshall’s co-star in the new BBC1 drama Shetland.
Donnie Munro is one of Scotland’s legends. From his days as lead singer with Runrig to fronting his own band today, Donnie has thrilled audiences far and wide with his unique voice and style. The Donnie Munro Band performs at DG One on Saturday, February 16.
DG One presents Big Burns Supper – One for the Kids this weekend. There are a number of shows and activities in The Spiegeltent.
Dumfries Camera Club’s annual exhibition, which opens this Saturday and runs until March 9, shows the work produced by the members and is held in high regard by amateur photographic societies in the UK.
The Grand Opera of Belarus is one of the three theatres in the former Soviet Union to receive the status Bolshoi. It takes to the stage at the Sands Centre in Carlisle on Saturday, March 16. Sung in Italian with English surtitles.
On Sunday March 17 relive the sights and sounds of the 1960s as the world’s premier Beatles band perform at the Sands Centre with their spectacular two-hour multi-media stage production featuring all the classic Beatles hits.
