Walkers get in stride with poetry and song

THE 11th Langholm walking festival was launched with poetry and song in glorious weather last Friday.

Ian Landles of Hawick, who officially opened the three-day event in the Buccleuch Centre, described in his own inimitable way the joys of walking in the hills through poems, prose and songs.
