SHE grew up singing in a church choir in rural Ireland, moved to New York at 18 to sing in bars and at weddings, toured across America in her early 20s as lead singer of the amazing Cherish The Ladies and is now combining family life in a quiet corner of the Scottish Borders with a phenomenally successful solo career.
Heidi Talbot, whose ‘honeyed’ and ‘angelic’ voice has gifted her this meteoric rise in the world of traditional and contemporary folk music, kicks off her new tour at the Buccleuch Centre in Langholm next month.
