THE children of Bentpath kicked off the Christmas party season with an afternoon of fun and feasting in the Benty hall last Saturday.

Twenty-three youngsters enjoyed playing games and a table groaning with tasty party snacks.
They then settled down to sing Jingle Bells as Father Christmas put in an appearance carrying two large sacks full of gifts.
