Views wanted on A7 speed limit increase

SOUTH of Scotland MSP Joan McAlpine is encouraging Langholm residents to contact Transport Scotland about the recent speed limit review and the plans to increase the speed limit on parts of the A7.
Transport Scotland has published a speed limit review which could see a change from 30mph to 40mph on the approach to Langholm
Ms McAlpine has written to Transport Scotland highlighting concerns raised by residents, including the fact that the junction at the sawmill bridge is on a bend with limited visibility, and encouraging it to rethink the proposals.
