Valiant duo dodge the raindrops for charity

CATH and Sara Yahia Mohammed of Newcastleton have completed a 26-mile walk for charity in Edinburgh and held a coffee morning to raise money for breast cancer research, realising a grand total of £723.

Cath and her daughter, Sara, decided to do the walk for breast cancer because they have a friend in the village with the disease and Cath’s parents both died of cancer.
