Too wet to fix park drainage

DRAINAGE work on the public park in Newcastleton has been delayed because of the poor spring weather.
It means the Queen’s diamond jubilee celebrations last Sunday had to be moved to the Polysport and the music festival committee is being advised that an alternative camping site may have to be arranged.
