THE sun had his hat on and all the kids had their sun hats on when Langholm Playcare hosted its toddler trot at Milntown.
Playcare invited youngsters and their families and friends to attend the fun day which raised more than £900.
The sponsored toddlers followed Langholm pipe band around the rugby pitch and every child taking part was given a goodie bag, balloon and stickers.
In the glorious sunshine there was a good turnout and people enjoyed the barbecue, refreshments, tombola, raffle, cake and candy stall and face-painting.
There was an opportunity for the older children to try their footballing skills and beat the goalie David Jeffrey.
Playcare co-ordinator Catherine Tod said: ”I would like to thank all the parents and everybody who helped and supported the event.
“It was a great day and we were fortunate to have lovely weather.”
Playcare need members for their committee and fundraising committee to keep the good work going.
