JOAN Armatrading, one of the world’s leading singer-songwriters, is in concert at the Buccleuch Centre in Langholm on Sunday, August 26.
Joan, three times Grammy-nominated, Brit award nominee and Ivor Novello winner, will be performing a mammoth 52 dates in the UK and Ireland.
This year’s Carlisle Festival takes place in Carlisle Cathedral from July 12 to 15.
Art, craft and family fun highlights are on offer to locals and visitors this summer as they discover more about the artwork held in the Dumfries and Galloway council collections in Gracefield Arts Centre in Dumfries.
Thin Lizzy, one of rock music’s most recognisable names, performs at the Sands Centre in Carlisle on Friday, August 17.
The Little Big Club Live in Concert is back at DG One in Dumfries on Saturday, August 25.
