Surgery visits are completed by MSP

ETTRICK, Roxburgh and Berwickshire MSP John Lamont has finished his 2012 summer surgery tour after visiting 70 locations in his constituency over three weeks. More than 300 constituents talked to him about issues such as windfarm applications, the state of the roads and the poor weather.
He said: “The tour is one of the highlights of my year. It gives me a chance to visit every town and village in my constituency, listening to people’s concerns and helping where I can.
