Store cattle in demand

Spring is finally here and the grass is as plentiful now as it has been for a long time in March. New born lambs and calves are on the way everywhere and there seems to be great enthusiasm for the future.
Store sheep and breeding sheep continue to realise recent high rates and store cattle are in great demand as we build up to next week’s Kirkcambeck Sale.
Prime stock of all classes are in demand and look set to remain a steady trade. Next Thursday, March 29, sees the annual show and sale of prime Cheviot hoggs.
Our seasonal machinery sale is on Monday.
