‘Single force will not be accessible’

THE operation of a single Scottish police force will deny easy access to senior officers for residents in Eskdale, it is claimed.
The Scottish government is pressing ahead with plans to merge all the current forces into one in April next year but the move is drawing criticism from across the political spectrum.
