Safety work begins at A7 accident spot

WORK has begun to improve the safety of the A7 between Langholm and Ewes after two accidents in the same place.
Chickens are taken out of the lorry which crashed into a field a few miles north of Langholm on Tuesday
The issue was highlighted by Dumfriesshire MP David Mundell in the Eskdale & Liddesdale Advertiser two weeks ago and he raised it at the meeting in Langholm of the A7 action group which he chaired.
