Safety move to sort clutter of A7 signs

THE confusion of signs which litter the A7 through Langholm is to be tackled as part of a wider plan to make the town centre safer and more accessible to locals and visitors.
The priority sign hides those directing visitors to the car park and public toilets in Parliament Square
Representatives of BEAR Scotland, which maintains the trunk road for Transport Scotland, met community councillors, traders and Annandale East and Eskdale councillor Denis Male last Thursday to draw up an action plan.
