Projected overspend for social work down

THE projected overspend in the 2012/12 social work budget in Dumfries and Galloway has dropped slightly but is still more than half a million pounds.
Social work councillors heard that the figure was down to £507,000, 0.6 per cent of the budget, and that the management team had identified measures to reduce the risk of overspending.
