Police appeal for residents to call with suspicions

SCRAP dealers who were reported to the police by Newcastleton residents were found not to be holders of an itinerant metal dealer’s licence.
An itinerant metal dealer is a person who buys and sells scrap waste materials and metal which he collects by visiting from place to place.
