‘Not-spot’ hopes to test new technology

NEWCASTLETON business forum is hoping the village will be one of 12 locations in the UK to be chosen to trial a new mobile phone technology which will improve the signal to the community.
Vodafone’s ‘open femto’ technology will provide vital connectivity, including 3G mobile internet coverage.
