New police inspector in pledge on service

LANGHOLM’S new police inspector has pledged to maintain the current service as Scotland’s forces move towards becoming a single national body next year.
New police inspector, Gordon McKnight
Inspector Gordon McKnight, who has taken over the Annan division, said local accountability would be retained and the public would see no diminution in the service they received.
