LODGE Eskdale Kilwinning held its annual parade to the evening service in Langholm parish church on the Sunday before Common Riding.

The parade was led by Langholm town band and the service was conducted by the Rev Scott McCarthy and the organist was Muriel Askew.

Lessons were read by RWM Bro Douglas McBay and IPM Bro Bill Smith. Soloists were PM Bro Alex Pool and PPGM Bro Irving Stuart.

The service was attended by visitors from other lodges and the retiring collection was in aid of Langholm Playcare. After the service, the town band led the parade back to the Masonic clubrooms where teas were served.
