LANGHOLM Probus club president Jim Thomson welcomed 29 members to the first meeting of 2013 and introduced the speakers Natalia Bell and Gillian Mabon, pupils at Langholm Academy, whose subject was Lessons from Auschwitz.

They spoke of their experiences when visiting the sites of the World War Two German concentration camps at Auschwitz as part of their history course.
