‘Leave vegetation’ to stop erosion by river

A RESIDENT’S efforts to protect Langholm’s riverbank from erosion in George Street by working with the grasscutters has been thwarted by the council.
Roy Harling got together with the local authority workers to stop the banking beneath the steps from being washed away after persuading them not to cut the grass.
