Knight did so much to boost Langholm

Sir Christopher Collett (June 10, 1931 – December 2, 2012) SIR Christopher Collett, who has died aged 81 in Petworth Cottage Nursing Home in West Sussex after a long illness, had long and close connections with Langholm and Eskdale.

The former Lord Mayor of the City of London brought his family to Eskdale for many years on fishing holidays before buying Broomholm when he retired.
