Input ‘denied’ after council glitch, claim

COMPLAINTS have been made by a Newcastleton community councillor that Scottish Borders council has denied him a chance to respond to a consultation.
Martin Craig has been monitoring the landscape designation review for the community council for the last year. The councillors have been concerned that Liddesdale and Hermitage, despite their cultural and historical significance, were to be excluded from the designation which would afford them protection.
