House proposal for former Inn tearoom

THE company which is converting Canonbie’s Riverside Inn into flats, has now submitted a proposal to turn the former tearoom into a house.
Canonbie Riverside of Saughtree, Newcastleton, is currently turning the listed Riverside Inn into four flats and a bistro which it intends to sell
Canonbie Riverside of Saughtree, Newcastleton has applied for planning permission for a change of use, alterations and extension to the former Reiver’s Fayre to create a two-bedroom single-storey property.
