House building ‘is in crisis in our region’

DUMFRIES and Galloway is in the throes of a housing crisis, according to Dumfriesshire MSP Elaine Murray.
New homes are desperately needed according to shadow housing minister Elaine Murray, but fewer are being started
Dr Murray says new figures reveal that the number of new builds starting in the region has dropped by 50 per cent in the space of only a year.
