Hospital’s A&E figures among the best

FIGURES released by the Scottish government have revealed that NHS Borders is performing well above other health boards when it comes to dealing with Accident & Emergency patients within eight hours.
Over the last year Borders General Hospital has failed to see only 23 patients admitted to A&E within eight hours, considerably better than most hospitals in the rest of Scotland.
