Horror at access issue of turbines

A REPORT on the main issues surrounding controversial plans for a windfarm at Windy Edge north of Newcastleton have been outlined to community councillors.
The windfarm is proposed to be built on land at Sundhope and Braidlie, 3km north of Hermitage, and will comprise 20 turbines at 125m (410ft) high, generating up to 50MW. Developer Infinis plans to submit a planning application next spring.
