Going mad for Madness

TICKETS are selling fast for the Madness concert in Carlisle this summer.

The British pop legends will headline the 2013 Stobart family festival at Carlisle racecourse on Saturday, July 6.

Cumbria Rural Choirs with Manchester Camerata Brass, choristers from Carlisle Cathedral and The Abbey Singers will perform Voices and Brass on Saturday, March 9 in the cathedral.

C-Art at Tullie: An exhibition of Cumbrian artists and designers is currently on show until February 24 in Tullie House Museum & Art Gallery.

The first confirmed acts at the Knockengorroch World Ceilidh 2013 have been announced. The renowned roots music festival, established in 1998, has become known for its eclectic line-up, featuring music from all corners of the globe.

A bizarre craze sweeping America is about to arrive in the border area – Zombie running. The Forestry Commission is hosting the pulse-quickening pursuit in Kielder Forest this Saturday.
