From cakes come colour

NEWCASTLETON floral group held a coffee morning and plant sale in aid of funds in the village hall last Saturday and raised £389.

There were plants on sale, along with a tombola and raffle. The money will be used to enhance the village’s environment, including the beds in the top and bottom squares which they have now taken over.
