BILLY Currie of Waverley Road, Langholm spotted a blackbird with her four chicks nesting at the back of his shed.

Billy said it was the second year running that blackbirds had nested there and used the same undisturbed nest from last year.
He photographed the chicks as they were waiting for their mum to return with food for them.
