Flagship band set sail again

UNDER their banner Forward with Scotland’s Past, Battlefield Band have been a bedrock of talent for more than four decades and lead the way with their inspired fusion of ancient and modern traditional music and song.
Christmas comes but once a year ... or does it? As far as the LAODS cast of Comfort & Joy by Mike Harding is concerned, it’s Christmas.
A Hawick artist is showing his work for the first time in the Waterfall Gallery in the museum.
There is a packed programme of events during November at DG One in Dumfries. Next Friday, November 16, Foster & Allen perform the beautiful melodies which have made them a phenomenal success all over the world.
The Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Scotland, with director of music Captain Andy Gregory, perform at the Sands Centre, Carlisle on Saturday, December 1.
