Fine fete raises £700 for primary school

CANONBIE primary school fete raised £723 for the school’s funds when it was held in fine sunny weather a week last Saturday.

This meant everything could be held outdoors but visitors could also go into the classrooms to view the children’s paintings of the Queen to celebrate the diamond jubilee.
