Engineer called to blank screen discovers wires to television cut

VANDALS have cut the TV wires on the outside of two homes in Langholm.
One of the homes affected was on Thomas Telford Road in the town.
A resident living in the house said it had happened at some point over the weekend. She said: “I went to switch on the TV and nothing happened.
“We called the engineer out and when he came round he saw that the wires had been cut.
“When he was repairing it a man walked past and said the same thing had happened outside his house on Albert Place.”
The resident has reported the vandal attack to the police who are investigating.
