Economic policy is to ‘blame the UK’, says MSP

THE Scottish Chambers of Commerce has published its business survey which shows that the Scottish economy has weakened in the second quarter of 2012.
Dumfriesshire MSP Elaine Murray said: “The SNP’s only economic policy seems to be to blame the UK government for everything going wrong.
“While I am the biggest critic of the UK government, the SNP need to start taking some responsibility.
“For example, by cutting the housing budget by more than £100m, they are strangling the construction sector and by slashing college budgets, they are throwing young people onto the scrapheap.”
