Dressing down to lift lives

PUPILS at Canonbie primary school had a more informal day last Thursday and it was all in a good cause.
The children enjoyed a non-uniform day and had fun going to school in their own choice of clothes, along with their teachers, to raise money for Unicef, the United Nations organisation which campaigns for the rights of children all over the world.
This year Food for Africa will benefit from the £87 raised at the event by pupils and staff.
