Donated table may go over £500 repairs

THE large table donated to Langholm’s council chamber by the late Willie Tait may be replaced with modern furniture because of the cost of repairing it.
Community councillors in Langholm must decide whether to get rid of the table and chairs and replace them with modern furniture
Community councillors also discussed whether having several smaller tables with new chairs would be more flexible and make the room more user-friendly.
