Denis hits back over ‘day of shame’ jibe

A LEADING Conservative councillor has hit back at accusations made by the opposition Labour group over the way the new administration at Dumfries and Galloway appointed its office bearers.
Annandale East and Eskdale councillor Denis Male, who was made vice-chairman of the planning applications committee and chairman of Annandale and Eskdale area committee, said all the procedures were conducted properly.
