Crime alert after 3,000 trees stolen

A RISE in rural crime in Eskdale in the past few weeks has put the police and residents on high alert.
In Eskdalemuir 3,000 stored trees were stolen from Davington forest between 4pm on Friday, June 8 and 8.30am on Monday, June 11.
