Better summer vital for tourism business in 2013

ACCOMMODATION providers in Dumfries and Galloway say last season was ‘acceptable’, given the economy and the poor weather.

The council’s has published its tourism business confidence monitor for 2012. The first survey of this type was done in November 2011, the purpose being to get an indication of how the season had gone for the tourism sector.
