DAVID Scott joined the Army to pursue his love of sports and more than three decades later he is still fulfilling his ambition, despite losing his right leg.

David, 51, was born and bred in Langholm, joined up as a young soldier and went on to serve his country in several conflicts from the Falklands to Afghanistan.
