TO COINCIDE with the election of Stuart Murray as the Langholm Cornet for 2017 the Eskdale & Liddesdale Advertiser has teamed up with the Common Riding members to run a quiz.

Common Riding enthusiasts are being encouraged to test their knowledge of the festival and enter the competition.

The Common Riding members are offering a cash prize of £20 for the first correct answer drawn after the closing date of Friday, May 26. Please hand in your entries at the Eskdale & Liddesdale Advertiser office in Langholm's High Street or email your answers, providing your name, address and daytime phone number, to rachel.norris@cngroup.co.uk
