Passengers' views sought on X95 service


BORDERS Buses, which runs the X95 service through Eskdale, is considering seeking feedback and suggestions from customers in the valley.

The company is reviewing its route network and ticket range and is working with Bus Users Scotland and Scottish Borders Council in hosting drop-in sessions in the Borders.

It has launched an online survey asking customers to confirm their travel needs, rate aspects of the service and give feedback on ways to improve bus routes, times and ticket types. A team will also be travelling on some bus routes to gather feedback.

The nearest drop-in session for Eskdale passengers is at the Heart of Hawick on June 22 from 4pm to 7pm. When asked whether she would consider hosting a session in Langholm, Sharon Morrison, commercial manager at West Coast Motors, which owns Borders Buses, said she would speak to Bus Users Scotland.
