£500,000 facelift funds for shops

LANGHOLM High Street businesses are being offered the chance to bid for a share of a £500,000 pot to improve their shop fronts.
But they will be competing against towns all over Dumfries and Galloway to secure grants and the money will be given on first-come, first-served basis.
